I want to send activity reminder notices to contacts two to three days in advance of the activity. I know that I can send an e-mail reminder by selecting Send Activity e-mail to contacts option from the top of the dialog box when looking at a specific activity, but I want to do a mail merge based on a lookup. If I have 20 activities three days from now, I don't want to have to open each one individually and go through the individual email merge. Is there a way to generate a mail merge template using activity fields such as date, time, and duration from a specific activity?
Unfortunately no. You could create additional fields in ACT! for Date, Time and Duration and have each field represented in a template you letter or email merge to. You need to enter the data manually however.
