I just upgraded to Act! 2009 from Act! 6, and imported my database using the standard configuration. When everything was finished, I'm left with 255 activities - some going back to 1996 (I'm a long-time Act! user). Is there any way to clear these activities - there should only be about 10 or so open. Also, it seems to take forever to clear an activity - at least 15 seconds.

You can highlight multiple activities in the Task List view, then right-click and choose "Clear Multiple Activities". This will not work for recurring activities...those have to be one at a time.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
