Activities & Activity Types won't Sync

Hi. I'm using ACT Standard - ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Version 10.0.3.182, Hotfix 1

I created a new activity result "reply" for one of my custom activities "marketing".

My remote user's database will sync without incident but there are two problems.

1. Any history for the "marketing" activity with a status set to "reply" does not sync across (or at least does not display)
2. the "reply" type itself is not present (or visible) on the remote database when I create a new "marketing" activity.
