Using Act 2010, windows 7, 64 bit machine. No problems in the past, running just fine. I had left my computer on over night and when I came in it was off. Either windows did an automatic update shutting things down or something else happened that shut the computer down. Act probably wasn't shut down properly and now when I try to open ACT on my computer I get this Error message box that says:
Resolution of the dependency failed type = Act.UI. ActApplication .name=" ".Exception message is: the current build operation (buile) key Build key {ACT.UT.ACTApplication.null} failed: system.Runtime.serialization.serialization Exception: Binary stream "'0" does not contain a valid Binary Header. Possible causes are invalid stream or object version change between serialization and deserialization. Formatters.Binary..................
Anyone have an answer for this one?
Thanks

Hello Tumo135,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!
Within the article previously mentioned is the following article: KB Article 14770
Use the section titled "Alternate Method: Manually Rebuilding Preferences".
