Hi, I am thinking about purchasing Act to manage a very small home business. Currently I use Outlook, but I am not very happy with it. Is Act similar to Outlook and does most of what Outlook does? If so, what makes Act different from Outlook? Thanks for your input.
They are two entirely different products. Outlook is an email editor that happens to have some CRM (contact resource managment) functionality. Act on the other hand includes an email editor that is inferior to Outlook, however it integrates with Outlook and has CRM capabilities that greatly exceed that of Outlook. Which will work better for you will really depend on what specifically you plan to use it for.
