Act v17 Does Not Automatically Attach history or Link to Letter

I have had to change to a new computer, I did a "Restored As" of my old database to my new computer with Act v17. It seems to work OK, even remembered my document templates. But now when I type a letter for a contact and print it, the prompt doesn't show to attach history or link to the document, It just prints.

Hi dbisbee,

Are you using the Quick Print button? Using this button should result in the 'Attach to history' box appearing when the document was opened from within Act i.e. from the "Write" menu.

If this doesn't solve the issue, what version of Word do you have installed?
There are some other issues that can cause this box not to appear. I would suggest checking the macro security settings as detailed in this Knowledgebase article: http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13569

Thanks Gary! Problem solved.

It was the registry didn't have the hexadecimal 3, it was set at 2. Once that was changed and I clicked on quick print in Word after opening the document from Act! it gave me the prompt to save.
