I am using Act! Pro 2012. I can open the software, but the Act! window disappears as soon as the database is opened. I have tried opening the demo database, removing and reinstalling Act!Pro 2012 and rebooting the computer. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. All other applications work normally on the computer.
I welcome any suggestions to fix this problem.

this can be fixed by reseting the preferences in act via ACT-Diag
