Since I reinstalled Act! 2011 Pro about a week ago I have found that Act works flawlessly (finally!!) except that when quitting it closes but Windows throws up an error "Act! has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution". (paraphrased). The error lasts only a second or two and as far as I can tell, does no harm. Has anyone else experienced this error?
Windows 7-64 Pro
8 Gig Ram
Dual Core Desktop (2600Mhz)

Many times this is a bad plugin. Do you have any ACT add ins? You might try making a copy of the plugins folder and then emptying out the original. The restart ACT. If it closes sucessfully, graduallly add your plugins back in until you find the guilty one.

I found the plugin folder. I can't believe how many plugins there are and I also can't believe that I could not find the folder before. Thank you for your help.

I have tried uninstalling, cleaning registry, running in windows xp compatibility mode....nothing seems to be working.
the program was fine a week ago. I need help!! I really don't want to upgrade
