Act for Windows 12, Act 2010

Is it ok that I am running Act 2010 from upgraded database and new database is showing in Act for Windows 8 instead of Act for Window 12?

Thank you.

Could you provide more information?  I am not sure what you are asking.

Hello MikeyK61,

Welcome to the Act! Online Community!

It is absolutely fine for your database to reside in the Act for Windows 8 folder, even though you installed Act! V12.  The conversion of your database does the work 'in place' - it doesn't move the database to the new folder.  The reasoning behind this concerns the sharing/syncing of databases, if the conversion moved the database it could break other users' access to it.
