Act for Palm 3.0 can't dial on Centro

I can't dial out from Act for Palm 3.0 on my ATT Palm Centro.

 

When I am in a contact screen on the Palm, I touch the phone icon which brings up a list of phone numbers. I then select a number and a "Dial" dialog box opens with the number I selected and dial or cancel options. When I select dial nothing happens and I just get the contact screen again.

 

Can anyone help me?

This may be an incompatability with the dialer configuration used by that phone.  Check with the manufacturer of the phone to see if they use a different dialer than, let's say, the Treo phones.
