I've tried Act! in an English Windows, I can't input Chinese characters in Act!.
When I choose Chinese as "Language for non-Unicode programs" (Control panel->Regional and Language Options->Advanced), then it works fine with Chinese.
But when I synchronize with Palm using "Act! link for Palm OS" (Not "Act! for Palm OS"), all Chinese characters become "????".
So it seems that Act! doesn't support Unicode or Chinese.
Could someone confirm this or I've missed some settings ?

The Palm OS might not support it. I'm not sure, haveing not tested it
I suggest you speak to Michael or Elaine at +852 6323 0268 - they are ACC in Hong Kong that I get help with Chinese issues from

But it's not a Palm problem, because I used to sync my Palm with Palm Desktop, Outlook, without any problem with Chinese characters.

It could be a problem with the link software for the Palm...as I said, you'd get better help from some one in who knows the issues, like Michael.
You do realise that Palm thenselves have dropped support for the Palm OS?
Maybe it's time to look at updating your phone?
