We have just installed Act! and since the install, both Act! and Outlook take approximately 1.5 minutes to start up. We are getting registry errors when starting Outlook and Outlook in general is running too slow to be tolerated. Is there something we missed in the setup?

What version/build of ACT! are you using (from Help/About ACT!)?
What version of Outlook?
In Outlook you can try running "Detect & Repair" (Oulook 2002-2003) or "Office Diagnotics (Outlook 2007) from the Help menu.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

We are running the trial version of Act! 10.0 and Outlook 2003. We just tried to unstall and reinstall and it didn't seem to make any difference. When Act! was uninstalled, Outlook returned to it's original speed. After the reinstall, it went back to 70 seconds to bring up an email or to reply. We also tried the 'detect and repair' and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any other ideas?
