Act V21 & Outlook 365 - Default not working in mailmerge

Just got V21 and outlook 365... like a lot about both, but I just sent out a mailmerge and as always before sending switched the default to the email address I want it to be from...I switched it as I always did, and checked it again that "Save as Default" - however when I did mailmerge it sent from the wrong e-mail address (another one I use in outlook)... never had a problem doing this with 2010 outlook and V17 acts...

 

can someone please help? thanks!

You have to go outside of the outlook program into the Control Panel and change it there...
 
 
How to change the default e-mail
1. Open Control Panel and click Mail.
2. Change the settings of When starting Microsoft Outlook, use this profile, and select Always use this profile, and choose the profile you want to set as default.
3. Click Apply, and then reopen Outlook to check the status of the issue.
 
 
So go to bottom left, Type - Mail
 
Click Mail 2016
Click Show Profiles
Choose 12-18-18-2  (name of my outlook file - yours will be named differently))
Choose Properties and change the Default e-mail  and click save
