Act Scheduler Not Backing Up

Act Scheduler Not Backing Up

Windows 7.  Act 2013.


ACT is located on a second hard drive on my pc.  I do allow share across a shared network to 3 other users.

Here is the error message(s):  I don't think it has every backed up, I set this task in about July, and should have set an ACT reminder to myself to check on it!  Your help appreciated:

Has the password  changed t for the user record that is used to backup the database since the task was originally set up as that can cause this problem.

I would edit the task and re-enter the details.

Thank you for giving me a tip on where to start looking.  

I believe the password is the same, however I noticed the password error may be related to logging accross the network. Windows 8 has been finnicky it seems about password acces to users on a shared network.   I moved off a server to a shared network and either that or moving the machine that has the backup on it to W8 is causing a password error with the Act Scheduler.

I changed the backup to reside on the same drive on my personal pc as the act datbase resides.  

It backed up on schedule, case closed!  Thank you.

If you weren't backing up to a local drive before, that may have been your problek ephillips.  As I understand it, you should only be able to backup to a local drive, not USB or Network, as far as SQL is concerned.
