Act Sage 2010 License

We are currently using (2 users) Sage Act Premium and I need to purchase another license. If I were to purchase a license for Act Plus instead of premium what are the disadvantages?

Re: Act Sage 2010 License

You mean ACT "Pro", and you cannot mix versions - the Pro won't be able to open/access data from the Premium versions...

To share a database everyone must be on the exact same version.

Re: Act Sage 2010 License

Sorry Tina, when user's share a database, it has to be *exactly* the same.  Even year/level could be the same (e.g. 2011 Premium), but if one is at a different Hot Fix or Service Pack level that could mess it up.

What do you do with ACT?  Just in the office, laptops that get taken home/offisite?  Do you have any wish to use it via the web?  The newest version is 2012 - I've been using it since late summer, and it's a great release.  The web/email integration is a major improvement over the last couple versions - whether you use Outlook, Google, or just want mobile access.

Feel free to email me specific questions...
