I support a user having trouble opening word documents saved in ACT. Whenever they try to open a word document from the "Notes" tab they get the following error:
Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions:
*Check the file permissions for the document to drive.
*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.
*Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.
Microsoft suggests adding the file location to Trusted Locations in the Trust Center. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know the location these files are actually stored in on the server, so I can try adding it as a trusted location? Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Hi There,
You can find the location of any attachments by hovering your cursor over the attachment icon. This will show the path to the file:
Are you able to open the Word documents directly on the server?

Thanks Gary! I was not able to access the files directly from the server either, but I added that location as a trusted location and now I am able to open the files from the server and from within Act!
