You can't just get a video card and put it in a pc. These dell optiplex systems max at 500mb video card memory as far a capability and compatibility.
I could be wrong? I was once b4..

You can usually upgrade the video cards in most pcs by putting in a different video card. You can also add a video card and use both. I would recommend removing the old one and adding a new one. That is likely to get you the best results.

this time, I saw it with my own eyes.. Date/Time Data disappeared as soon as I clicked the Save button.
So instead of manually entering the data, I used Exponenciel Calc Field add-on to enter the current date/time and it did that, then I entered a sentence into a memo field, then I clicked save button and the date/time data disappeared. This happens regardless of how the data gets entered into ACT!v17 Pro..
As much as I love ACT!, This is Bull Poop. Capital B Capital U Capital L Capital L..

I only recently started using the exponenciel calc fields add-on for my date/time fields, to see if that would make any difference. = Nope.
It happens when it happens? At least once a week? once a day?. But who really knows? I enter data and I move on to the next record. at some point, I come back to previously entered records/data only to find data missing. I have done all the debugging tracing tracking I know how to do without being a programmer. Just like ACT!2011... It has been happening ever since I went to ACTv17 pro.. ACT!2013prem and ACT!v16 pro did not seem to have the problem?
I usually only enter about 6 - 12 new records per day? Manually... What I am noticing is the Date/Time fields data disappearing. NOT GOOD. Please fixy...thank you.
Update- 06-17-2016 - Same thing happened. I had existing data in two date/time fields , that were entered by exponenciel calc add-on, then I entered some text in one of my memo fields, click on my SAVE button and the data in my two date/time fields reverted back to previous data and the new text data I entered in my memo field disappeared. I also had previous data entered in my memo field but did not lose that. just the new text I typed. Note: How my date/time data gets entered does not seem to be relevant.

Act! Pro Version 220.127.116.11, Hot Fix 3
Months later - Still monitoring this problem and Swiftpage Needs TO FIX IT PLEASE! Date/Time fields are worthless. I can't click the save button every time I enter a letter or number. Even then the date/time data gets reverted back to previous date/time. WORTHLESS for Scheduling, Reporting and Tracking needs. It does not matter if I use the Exponenciel Auto Field Calc add-on or not. I can make date/time entry, click save and I may have to enter it again and click save again. Then later I may be making an entry in some other field in that same record such as a memo field and when I click save button, the date/time fields I changed, get reverted back to prev date/time data.
Keeping in mind, I had this prob with act v17 pro before I tried the exponenciel add-on.
I have also tried rebuilding my db using actdiag - tried a file - save copy of db...
Other users may not be using the date/time fields as much as I do and may not notice the problem.
So what do you say? Take a more serious look at your data loss problem with date/time fields? Thank you.

Thanks for responding again,
Also using exponenciel automatic webforms + autonumbers + voip add-ons..as welll as auto calc fields
Total of 4 exponenciel add-ons.
Not So Noticeable Problem,
This is a type of problem that I suspect would not be noticed by most users.
I added approx 25-30 date/time fields(most located in the Opportunities layouts) and definitely loosing data in the Opportunity layouts.
It has been probably a year since I have added these additional date/time fields to my act database product and I also use them as well.
It did not take me long to begin noticing the data loss.
Data Loss does still occur in ACT!v17. Not just in the date/time fields.
That is why I frequently click on the SAVE button.
My abundant and frequent use of the date/time fields makes the problem very noticeable as I rely on them for daily work flow process.
Moving Forward at my end,
I will be conducting additional test on my $2000 Toshiba laptop pc and it will only have the exponenciel autonumbers add-on.
You take a little time yourself, Test it for Yourself over a period of days/weeks off and on.
And you will see.
This has been occurring for several months that I have been noticing and brought it to your attention then.
Coming to work the next day and seeing my previous days entries missing or reverted back to their previous entry is not good.
We could say I need more memory in my video card and more patience but I'm am just a long time customer letting you know your product has a break in it.
Not much else I can do to fix it. Thanks.
