I am not able to access our company database. The only thing that pops up upon opening program is the Demo. If I go to open/share I can see the database I want but get an error message stating it's being used by another process? The administrator can access the database just fine. Nothing has been changed so I don't understand???

I'd like to verify the steps you are taking to access the database:
- Launch ACT!
- Select File > Open/Share
- See the database in the list presented > left click on the database name (not 'Share' or 'Unshare')
- Click 'Open Database'
At this point you get a message referring to the database being in use - is that correct?
If the database had previously been opened (and you have not reset your ACT! preferences), do you see the database listed near the bottom of the File menu? If yes, click on it there to attempt to open.
