I have been trying to find a way to email only certain users in a group rather than a whole group or subgroup. I have found that highlighting users and selecting email will email the whole group and there does not appear to be a way to select emailing just those users when right-clicking.
Is there a function that I am missing to do this? Dividing the group into more subgroups will not work in this case, from what I have been told.
Any help is appreciated.

With the group highlighted in the Group Detail view, right click and choose Create Lookup
In the Contact List view that displays, select those records that you want to email or conversely not email and choose Lookup Selected or Omit Selected from the tool bar at the top. Right click and choose Write in the menu that displays, then select Mail Merge.. Follow through the workflow screens and send the emails with the selected template.
