I have recently purchased Act Pro 16 and have been a little disappointed with its performance.
I was wondering ifg you could advise me as to a work around on a hang when raising an invitation for a meeting through Outlook. 2013.
The creating outlook invitation page comes up and stalls.
The only way to unhang the system is to shut down outlook all together.
Sending emails from my system is an important part of my CRM system .
Without this functionality I would be unable to continue using act
With a little playing around today I have conculded that other functions coinciding with outlook seem to have issues.
Even sync will not work unless outlook is closed completely .

What you are experiencing is not normal. I am not an engineer, but my suggestion is based on experience for over 25 years of use. I would do a backup of your ACT database. Then start all over again.
Remove both Microsoft Office and ACT.
Make sure you install Office first - it must be a 32bit version.
Then reinstall ACT and see if that helps.
It really looks like something is broken. You can troubleshoot for hours or days and then give up. Doing the reinstall fixes a lot of the problems that are not easily identified.
Maybe one of the community's gurus can add other insight to your problem. Once it is working, you will find that you can't go through the day without it.
