Act/Outlook synchronization

I have ACTv17/Windows 10 and am trying to synchronize with Outlook.  I have done it successfully before, but now it only fails.  I have gone through the knowledge base, still fails.  Can anyone help?

With Version v17 can I have you see if there is a file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\adal.dll

Try deleting that dll, closing Act !and Outlook.  Reload and try.

Deleted it and still failed.  There is a file called adalwrapper.dll - should that be deleted also?  Thanks for your help.

Do not delete the Adalwrapper.


Many have success if they go to control panel, selecting Office, select change/repair and run a quick repair.

Is the computer giving any error messages?

I tried the quick Repair on Outlook, no good.  The message I get is Synchronization failed, Act.integration.

Try clearing outlook msgs and xml files in this folder:

C:\Users\your_user Name\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT Data\HistoryQueue\

Deleted those files, Same result

Does Outlook have the 6 Act! icons?

No there isn't.  If I go to Options - Addins, Act Outlook Addin is disabled, and I don't know how to enable it.

I got the addins showing in outlook for Act but sync still fails.
