Act/Outlook/Android/Gmail/Laptop/Desktop

How do I keep all my database on all my electronics.  ACT recommends direct connect but I think there is a better option.  Please share your experience.

It really depends on two questions:
1. Do you want two-way sync with ACT! or just from ACT! to the other areas?
2. Do you deal with any international contacts?

Yes .. but do you want to edit the data on the phone or Outlook?

Most of the products that sync to Gmail/Outlook can cause duplicates (especially if sync'ing changes in both directions)

Some of the sync solutions (all of the ones from Sage) fail to sync the phone country code and will mess up international phone numebrs

I would like to make changes in all of them so everything would be updated without duplicates. Right now I don't have ACT on my desktop at all and tons of duplicagtes on my phone.  If I can't use all systems to make up dates I would at least like to make changes in my cell phone and gmail.   Does this help?  I appreciate you thoughts.
