Act.Integration has stopped working when sync Outlook Contacts

I have surface 2, run as administrator, on workgroup environment, version 18.2.53.0 of ACT! , running windows 8.1 pro, 64 bit.  

Did not see a fix that worked in prior strings, is there a resolve for this yet?

My calendar will sync, but outlook contacts will not.  Our IT administrator has said that ACT and outlook will not work together at this time, wondering if there is a fix you can offer them to try?

We are currently aware of an issue syncing to Outlook 2016. Is this the version in use?

See this thread for more details of this issue.

To confirm the issue is the same, check in event viewer and look for errors recorded at the time where the issue occurred.

If the error makes reference to Faulting module name: mso20win32client.dll or mso30win32client.dll, then this is likely related to the issue in the thread linked above.

the error message says windows location provider, then it shuts down the integration.

not sure if this is the same issue or not?

That particular error does not appear to be related to Act or Outlook.

 

Here's an example of the error that would occur for the issue I posted:

The Application Error would contain the relevant info.

so sorry grabbed the wrong one, two errors occur each day when it tries to auto sync with outlook,

It appears the Faulting module name: mso30win32client.dll

What do you think?

Ahh, this looks to be the issue which is detailed in the thread I linked to in my first post.
Please have a read over the info in there which includes suggestions to work around the issue.
