Act Database won't open unless process is ended by Task Manager

Using Sage ACT! Pro 2011 Version 13.1.111.0, Hot Fix 6.

 

The only cause I could think of was I did some defining of fields, and some other things that locked the database for a while.

 

Thoughts on the potential cause?

Hello David,
Can you verify that the ActSage.exe process continues to run in the Task Manager even after you close the program? If so, see if this Knowledgebase article helps to resolve:

Can you verify that the ActSage.exe process continues to run in the Task Manager even after you close the program? If so, see if this Knowledgebase article helps to resolve:

Thank you. This fixed the issue exactly, it was an issue with TeamViewer.

Thank you Roy.  I had noticed that and have been able to before.  This time I couldn't.  I think the phone range, I got sidetracked, and ADHD hit me.  Look!  A squirrel!
