Act! 2013 will not reopen after it is closed

When I close Act! 2013 and then later try to reopen, nothing happens. I have to open task manager and end the task actsage.exe and then it will reopen. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes this will happen if Act! is having a problem with an addon.

I diisabled all Act! add onsin Outlook 2010. Problem persists.

with ACT2013 we did see it often that act takes a long time to shut down. as the database is allready closed, you may just want to wait, or you may want to use the task-manager, to kill act!.exe(32) , then you can restart act

Thanks for your reply, but waiting seems to have no effect on the problem. Using Task Manager to kill SageAct.exe works, so I will just continue with that method.

do you have some screen sharing software running on your pc like TeamViewer or SamsungMultiscreen?

Yes, I have TeamViewer enabled.
