This just started a few days ago, possibly with some Windows 8 updates. Whenever I re-boot the computer Act will not start. No error messages, just nothing happens. I re-installed the program and it worked fine, but every time I re-boot the computer this happens again and Act will not start until I re-install the program (obviously a tedious process).
I'm running Windows 8.1. Act 2013 Pro. Single user.

The SQL Server is probably not starting up. Run Services.msc and then right click on SQL Server (ACT7) , select Properties and then select Automatic (delayed start) from the dropdown. If it isn't currently running press the Start button.

Yes. Put the SQL server on delayed start.
