Act 2013 History

I am experiencing issues with ACT. It’s not capturing history of changes made to customer contacts in my profile.  Any one have ideas on why this doesn't work?  Thanks.

There are a couple of things you can check.


1) Make sure that the History filters are set to show the types of History you're expecting to see. You can do this by adjusting the drop-down menus in the history tab to show the desired date range and types.


2) If you're expecting to see history based off of field changes, make sure that the fields that you're wanting to record history for are actually set to record history. Not all fields will do this by default. You can do this by clicking Tools > Define Fields, then select the field you wish to record history for and click Edit Field. Ensure that Generate History is checked.
