I just downloaded the latest update to Windows 10 Home edition (it was a big update), and once again it has upset my configurations for the Act 2012 Pro version (14.1.108.0) I have. I keep getting a pop up - "For added functionality fill out the Windows phone information dialog", followed by the 'Phone and Modem' box.
This box used to appear when I had upgraded to Windows 8 and subsequently to Windows 10 (the first version). ACT community and the team were very helpful in providing me with steps to get rid of this dialog box and I was successful.
I tried using these steps (by going into regedit, etc...) and am not able to find the 'country list' in the Telephony folder as advised in the steps. The key that I am supposed to look out for in the folder is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Telephony\Country List, but just cannot locate this link.
Can anyone out there help me resolve this issue please?
Thanks much.
Jay

Hi Jay,
Roy is correct, Act 2012 is not compatible with Windows 10, however there are some suggestions to resolve this issue in the following thread: http://community.act.com/t5/Act/ACT-2012-amp-Windows-8-phone-dialog-prompt-everytime-I-run/m-p/25731... Check out the suggestion in post #20.

Problem solved! Thanks to Stan Smith who kindly helped me with this fix.
For those who are already using Windows 10 (and have got the most recent update which was a major one) and are having a problem with ACT 2012 Pro, please click this link https://community.act.com/t5/Act/WINDOWS-10-AND-ACT-2011-PRO-PHONE-DIALER-POPUP/td-p/309183/page/3 to get rid of that phone dialogue box.
Thanks again, Stan, and the ACT community which is always ready to help anytime.
Best,
Jay

Thanks Roy for the feedback.
I have been using Windows 10 for the last year or so and just a couple of days ago Microsoft decided to take over my computer for a major update... which took a long time before the update was applied. Once this was done my ACT 2012 Pro starting playing up with the Phone dialogue box. Stan Smith from the ACT community helped me with the fix. Click this https://community.act.com/t5/Act/WINDOWS-10-AND-ACT-2011-PRO-PHONE-DIALER-POPUP/td-p/309183/page/3 and follow the solution provided by TxDaveP661.
Best,
Jay
