Act 2011

Does ACT 2011 work on Windows 7 peer to peer networks without isses.  I have a client using 2009.  We just upgradeds the computer to windows 7 and now the other users can  not access the database, so I am thinking of getting the client to uggrade to 2011, but i want to make sure there will be no major issues doing so?

Which version of Windows 7 is your client using?

Re: Act 2011

If you are syncing remote databases, perhaps you need to modify those settings now or re-create the remote data bases?

Hopefully all users were synced up before this project?  I'm not certain that is your issue but something to check.

Are all the pc's new o/s's successfully networked/shared now?

Re: Act 2011

Have you added exceptions to the firewalls (on the host)?  Here is an article with the exceptions to add: KB Article 25125

What message are you getting when they try to access the database?
