I have a problem sorting columns in F8 list view where the data in the columns is a tick-box (ie a yes/no field).
This happens after I have already done a first filter/search (ie country = Singapore) but NOT if I look up ALL contacts.
If I click on the field name at the top of the column it should bring all the ticks together, but it does not. Indeed it does not even attempt to sort them – ie there is no triangle even to indicate it sorting A-Z or Z-A?
This is a useful feature that I use a lot – can you please advise where this functionality has gone?
Is this another problem with the new latest 2011 version?

I have the same problem. I have used actdiag, uninstalled ACT, repaired, restored, deleted preferences, deleted yes/no fields and reinstated them, all without success. Tearing my hair out. I need this to work as I perform many functions based on Yes/No questions.
Using Act Pro 2011, Hot fix 4 - MS Server 2003 - 2 users.
Funnily enough it worked until I added a new Yes/No field - now why is it that it doesn't work anymore?
