Act 2010 For Financial Professionals v12 Outlook 2010 Integration

We have been more than patient waiting for the hotfix or
other solution for Outlook 2010 integration for ACT for Financial Professionals
v12. We purchased this product based upon your staff’s statement’s that there
would be a solution available in October of 2010.


Please advise the status of this unacceptable situation’s
correction.  Is your company prepared to
support this product or need we look elsewhere for solutions to our database
needs?

After much deliberation it was decided to not create a 'fix' to fully integrate ACT! 2010 with Office 2010.  Here is a link to an explanation of the situation by Larry Ritter: Office 2010 Compatibility

 

However, there are 2 options:

 

We have provided a work-around to integrate ACT! 2010 with Outlook 2010, but it does not include integration with MS Word or Excel.  If this level of integration is sufficient, here is an article with instructions: KB Article 26713

 

For full integration, an alternative has been created by an add-on provider.  This add-on provides integration with ACT! 2010 and MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.  To review this add-on, visit the website: http://www.designr1.com/shop/act-word-2010/
