I switched to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (clean installed) and then reinstalled everything
starting by MS Office 2007 and Outlook 2007
Then I installed Act! 2009 which seems to work ok.
The only problem I have is that I can't attach an Outlook mail to an Act! contact anymore,
even though that the Act! address book is correctly configured in Outlook and Act! correctly
saw Outlook at install time and let me configure it.
Am I missing something or is this feature not working anymore under Windows 7?
Even if I go in Outlook and select a message and tell it to attach it to an Act contact.
Thanks for any help.

This may be an issue with Windows 7 compatibility as ACT! 2009 is not officially supported with that operating system. However, you may be able to find a solution in KB 19948
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

thanks for your help. I checked everything from the KB and unfortunately, everything is set as it should.
Oh well, that may be an opportunity to switch to Act! 2010 or 2011 when released in that case.
Thanks and happy new year to you.
