Act! 2009 problems since installing Windows 7

1. the bottom half of ACT! screen that includes "Notes, History, Groups, ect." is missing.

 

2. History no longer being recorded under History tab.

1. Maybe try changing the resolution of the screen... you might have just dragged the middle divider bar to the bottom

 

2. If you can't see the History, how do you know?

 

Also remember that only ACT! 2010 is supported on Windows 7

So far, ACT! and Windows 7 are working well together.

I had nothing but problems when trying to install ACT 2009 in a MS Windows 7 environment.  After many sleepless nights I upgraded to ACT 2010 and things seem to be smooth.  I am running this as a backup only.  My production environment is ACT 2009 on a MS Vista Ultimate 64 bit machine but if that dies I want to be up and running quickly. ACT 2009 in Windows 7 is NOT where I will be.  Good luck.
