Act! 2009 - cannot install to a compressed folder???

We have Windows XP, and as far as I can tell everything is in place and ready to go as far as what is required, but it will not install. What is wrong? What does it mean compressed folder? It won't even let me use the desktop or the folder suggested.

Thank you in advance.

MS SQL can't be installed in a compressed folder.

Right-click on the drive in Windows Explorer, then Properties. Uncheck Compress Driver

!O my gosh! I apologize. How embarassing. Smiley Sad I didn't know what Windows Explorer was (until now) so I assumed (you kow what they say about assuming...) that you meant IE. My bad. I got it now. Thank you so much for your help.
