Everything seems to be working fine except for one thing. I sent an email from Act yesterday and it shows up in my contact's history. I closed Act last night and my contact replied to my email earlier this morning before I opened up Act. I thought it was supposed to show up as a received email in Act whether Act is open or closed. However, when I opened up Act it wasn't showing up. Is there a setting that I need to change?

Emails you send, are attached automatically to Act!. Emails you receive, need to be attached manually, from within Outlook 2003. Look for the 4 Act! icons at the top right of Outlook 2003.
