Act 2009 Upgrade problem

Hi everyone,

 

Hoping someone can help. I recently upgraded from Act 2005 to 2009 STD. After the upgrade completed I only had 1 contact.

 

Before the upgrade I had 794 contacts with notes, etc. in 2005. I backed up prior to upgrading, and during the install I followed the instructions to back up my e-mail and database. Only problem is I have lost the Act 2005 disc.

 

I've tried installing a fresh copy of 2009 on a different pc and opening/converting a copy of my backup. Same deal only 1 contact.

Do you have access to the old database files in their native state?

Yes, I backed up the program files\act directory as well as the my documents\act. Unfortunetly I do not have the Act 2005 disc though. My computer is now running Act 2009.
