Act 2009 - Firefox Compatible?

I don't use IE. Just Firefox. Is there a way to attach web pages to contacts in ACT 2009 (11.0) from Firefox? I have searched KB and forum for this answer but can't seem to find an answer. If not, are there any other browsers other than IE I can attach web pages to contacts with?

(I have another question about putting in a drop down link for driving directions that used to work really well in ACT6.0 and will post about that later.)

Currently, Internet Explorer is the only compatible browser for ACT!.

The IE Tab for Firefox will work with APFW, but not attach as the ACT! icons and pull-down from Tools aren't there

Re: Act 2009 - Firefox Compatible?

-What I meant is that I submitted a suggestion to Sage to get Firefox as a supported browser...

-OK, the IE tab just changes the engine. As I cannot attach to a contact, this is probably useless. Reading the KB article you mentioned in your previous reply, I tried this and it worked, so it might just be the workaround. While in Firefox, save the webpage then go the contact and attach it. I did this under notes and it you can click on it and go straight to the page in Firefox. It's still tedious. Too bad we can't get a button like in IE (which works great!).

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

The built in maps and directions don't work for non-US addresses, which is one reason I prefer the Google tab control
