Act 2009 Database Synchronization problem

I really like Act 2009 and one of the features that is most useful to me is being able to synchronize two databases.  Until recently it worked well.  All of a sudden synchronization is not working properly.

I am synchronizing my main act 2009 database located on my desktop and with a remote database located on my laptop.  The desktops Act database is the publisher and the laptop's database is the subscriber (remote) database.  I have run into the problem that after synchronizing the two Act databases, the remote computer's database is updated from the publisher database's changed flles, but the publisher's database is not updated from the changes or additiona to the remote database. Both databases synchronized accurately previously.  I am not getting any error messages.

I have tried repairing and re-indexing both databases.  I have searched the Act knowledge database but that has not helped.

I am running Act 2009 (11.0) on Version 11.0.0.367 on both computers.   The data sync set is set for all current and future users and all data.

I am also synchronizing another a remote database on different computer from the same publisher data base. I have a separate remote database and sync set for that computer.  That computer synchronizes with out any problems with the publisher database.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Paul M.

Re: Act 2009 Database Synchronization problem

Paul,

You need to update from ACT! v11.0. to 11.1 by following the KB article http://tinyurl.com/lcegeo

Then you need to apply the Hot Fix 2 by following the KB article http://tinyurl.com/lof4jz
