Act 2008 problems converting email attachments

I am converting from a version 6 to 2008. Got the whole conversion working and got sync all set up fine. Problem is that I have just noticed that for all my attached emails there is a message saying. Unable to convert the attachment xxxxxx the file is missing. (xxxx is the name of the file that is that particular email attachemt) I have looked and the file is there, but it is not converting and therefore not attaching. Anyone any ideas?

To convert and attach e-mails (or files), ACT has to be able to reach the file by using the path in the history of your ACT6!

Is is the case? If you open your ACT6 database from the same computer you converted it, can you open an attached file from the notes/history tab? (try with an attachment not converted obviously Smiley Wink)

Try this article in the ACT! Knowledge Base - http://tinyurl.com/29gffm

Also make sure there are no special characters in the file name - commas, apostrophes, etc
