I have recently updated to Act 2008 from Act 2000. I am trying to create a copy of my current database before I perform some major changes. When I do a backup, My zip file is very small and does not appear to be a complete backup of all my files.
Please explain the following:
1. What files should be backed up and how do I verify that the files are completly backed up?
2. What are the file extensions for the ACT files?
3. I want to back the files to a CD and store off site. What is the best method to perform this backup?
4. How do I verify that the files I baked up will restore the files correctly?
