We have been using ACT 2007 and NEC's PC assistant DIALER program for 18 months. The only problem we have is after generating an outgoing call the HISTORY tab pops up. We want to change that so the NOTES tab pops up.
Is this dictated by a setting in ACT?
Unfortunately, PC assistant has been dropped by NEC so we have no support on that side.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It is the ACT dialer that pops up the history tab. Unfortunately, this is how ACT works. Hostories are for recording events like calls that have occured. Notes are usually for background info etc. It would be recomended that histories be used if possible.There are add ins that will copy your notes to histories if you desire.

Yes, that's an easy one. Edit the layout (tools, design layout, Contact Layout). In the layout designer, choose Edit, Tabs. You can reorder the tabs here. Save and close.
Your should be good to go. If you want your old notes copied to historys, many ACT consutants can help you with this through an add on we have.
