I'm trying to setup an application sync over a VPN. The VPN connection is up and running and stable. I have the Accept incoming Sync enabled on the Host computer and the remote database all setup on the remote computer. When the remote computer tries to connect it gets an error saying to check and make sure the Accept incoming Sync is checked on the host computer and that the network sync service is running.
So I check what services were running on the computer and don't see any Sync Service at all. Should there be one when doing the application sync with Act 2007?
I have Act 2007 for workgroups
Act is up and running with Accept incoming sync enabled on the host computer
Remost computer gets an error saying to make sure accept incoming sync is enabled
