Requesting help for the aged. Not me, my version of Act! 2006. Mysteriously I lost about 100 contacts from my database. I tried restoring from back up but receive the following error message "Could not authenticate user. Verify the user name and password and try again".Did- same results. I might note I get a similar error message when attempting to sync with my PDA (unsuccessful to date). Please help if you can.

If you still have access to the original database, you can verify that user name by going to Tools > Manage Users. If not, you can contact support and they will be able to restore the backup for you.
