Act 2006 - contact "filter" cannot be removed

I just started working for a company using Act 2006. I am using it quite successfully with a few minor exceptions. I am sure that these exceptions are my own ignorance, but I've not been able to find the answers.

 

When I have a reminder, I click the "Go To" button which takes me to the contact's record (which is what I want). When I am done with what I need to do for that contact, I'd like to get back to my contact list. But, the contacts are "filtered" down to the one contact from that was linked to the "to do" item. If I click on Contact List, it still only shows the one contact. I do not see a "remove filter" button or anything similar. Is there any way to get back to the contact list without closing ACT?
