Act 2005 for Windows and Outlook2007

Hello,

I have Act 2005 for windows and outlook2007.

I am trying to "load" the outlook information (calendar and tasks) to Act.

When trying to use in Act the "tools" drop-down menu and the "Outlook" activities to synchronize, the option is NOT activated, i can see it, but being not activated, i can't transfer the outlook info to Act ..

Can anyone help me ?

many many thanks in advance

Pascal

Microsoft changed much in Office 2007 and support for this was only added in ACT! 2008

Yes for Outlook 2007... but it's even better, in ACT! 2008, you can completely replace the ACT!Email client and just use Outlook

Re: Act 2005 for Windows and Outlook2007

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

I am anyhow surprised that such a basic fonctionality is not any longer valid with Act ...

The upgrade is far from being free, and i am very disapointed.

I thank you anyway for your help

Best Regards

The problem is that MS changed the native file formats and the API code in Office 2007 - the changes required in ACT! were made in the next version. It would be a difficult task to make those type of changes in prior versions
