Act! 11 Syncronisation with Outlook

Dear All,

 

I am running

   Sage ACT! Pro 2011 Version 13.1.111.0, Hot Fix 5   with

   Microsoft Outlook 2010

 

I have entered my data religiously into Act!, including the country codes for the telephone & fax numbers.

However, when I sync to Outlook, the country codes get ignored, meaning that:

[43] 1 78701 gets turned into

1 78701

 

Also, the extension numbers are ignored, so that

[43] 1 78701 2600 finally ends up as

1 78701

 

What to do?

That's connect ... the sync doesn't handle the country codes and really shouldn't be used by those dealing with people outside North America.

If looking to sync with something that needs to dial, you will need to look at one of the third-party solutions.

Is the aim to sync to a mobile phone? If so, which OS?
Or are you wanting to dial from Outlook?
