Act 11.1.183.0 Internet Mail has extra blank account

How do I delete the extra blank internet mail account?

Using only Act internet mail. On server no extra blank account (folder) shows up. But on 2 workstations, extra blank account shows. Each time Act checks for new mail it tries to connect to this blank account and waits for connection login data. I tried the suggestion to rename the preference file, but that did not solve the problem.

This error is typically due to a damaged preferences file. Instead of just renaming the preferences file, delete the entire Act for Windows 11 folder (and any other Act for Windows folders) from C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data\ACT (Windows XP) or C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\ACT (Windows Vista). Make sure that ACT! and all MS Office applications are closed when you do this. Then reboot your computer and see if the empty mail accounts are still there.
