Act 10.0 / Vista / Outlook 2007 / Template

Installed Act 10.0 on a system that's running Vista Ultimate, installed the database on a SBS 2003 server. Whoch i also use in combination with Act! for the web. On the client i use Office 2007 without a problem. Act! is using Outlook 2007 as the main mail client, My question, can i put below the menu "write" and email (custom) template so i can easily point and click to write a email. Now i have to goto Write > Email message (from template)

If its the web client (ie accessing through internet explorer) then no... if you are using the windows client follow the steps below:

1. Right click on the toolbar and click customise
2. Select Custom Commands tab
3. Click New
4. In the command name enter the text you wish to appear on the menu
5. Put the same text you enetered in step 4 into tooltip text
6. Click the browse button for command line
7. In the open file window change the file type to all files
8. Browse to your template and open it
9. Click the 'Add Command' button
10. Click on the Commands tab
11. In the list on the left locate custom commands and click on it
12. In the box on the right you will see your new custom command.
13. Using the left mouse button drag this to wherever you like in the menus
14. Close the customise toolbar dialog and test
