Act! 10.0 Purchase

I've decided to bite the bullet and upgrade from Act! 6.0 to 10.0. It appears that Sage is only selling 11.0. Where's the best place to purchase an upgrade to 10.0

Thanks,

Gary

PS I prefer to get the CD and download any new updates.  GJ

Roy,

It took a awhile, but I was able to confirm I have a 43-bit machine.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Act! 10.0 Purchase

I don't understand why you would want to purchase version 10 when version 11 is available given that you are doing an upgrade. There would be no savings to upgrade to version 10 and you would automatically be one upgrade behind. If you insist that you must upgrade to version 10 rather than 11, contact an ACT! Certified Consultant and they would be able to order it for you.

Re: Act! 10.0 Purchase

Roy,

Thanks for the response. From what I understand 11.0 runs under Vista and has issues with XP Pro, while 10.0 will use either, but works well with XP Pro. I have a new Dell machine and had XP Pro installed as I don't want the hassles with Vista. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Not true, I'm running version 11 on XP pro with no problems. I think you are referring to trying to run it on a 64-bit version of XP. No problems if you are running 32-bit.

Ok, a 32-bit machine, sometimes my fingers just won't keep up. GJ
