I have user who is running Act 10 and when he tries to save a new template he gets these errors.
Save As - Bill Hart Cannot access this file. Check security priveledges over the network drive.
ACT! by Sage - Access to the path 'PATH NAME' is denied.
I have checked the user rights on the folder that is located on the server and all of the users who are getting this error have full control. The database is shared out from a server running Windows Server 2003.

I am so frustrated with ACT! All of a sudden I am getting an error message that will not allow me to import an excel spreadsheet into a database. UGH!! And I am NOT believing that in order to get any help, I have to PURCHASE a VERY expensive plan.... PLEASE HELP ME get past this error message.
It reads:"Access to the path 'C:\Program Data\SageSoftware,Inc\SageAct!\18.104.22.168ImportCSV.txt' is denied.
I looked for answers online and it tells me to delete the pad file... but that does nothing to help. I do not have the option of "share" since I am a one license user.

I have the same issue. I don't know what to do. I will try to return ACT back to Amazon.com today. No way I will support this greedy company.

If you want help how about a few details: windows version, ACT! version, what are you doing when you get the error?
